It's BACK TO SCHOOL time, and local students and teachers could use our help! We have two ways you can join Bethel Church in blessing educators and students this school year!
1) Back to School Supply Drive: We continue to collect school supplies for local low income families! Grab a few extra items when you shop and drop them off in the foyer collection bins, or at the Richland campus office (M-Th, 9a-3p).
2) Clear a Teacher Supply List: We have many local teachers who call Bethel their home church! We'd love to help teachers in our Bethel family clear their teacher supply lists they have posted via amazon! If you go the
Bethel local outreach Facebook page, look for the top post on the newsfeed (titled "Help a teacher"). Multiple teachers have posted their needs in the comment section and we'd love to clear these lists for our hard working and dedicated teachers!
Join us in these prayers for students and teachers (written by Lauren Gaines):
Students: "Lord, give our children a thirst for knowledge, wisdom, and understanding. May their hearts be ready to learn this year: at home, at school, and church. Open their ears, may they crave knowledge and seek it out. Watch over their coming and going. Guide their choices and guard them from temptation. Amen."
Teachers: "We thank you for our children's teachers! We pray you would strengthen them with your power this school year. Give them guidance on instruction, strength to complete all their tasks and energy to joyfully interact with their students. God give them efficiency as they work. May they find times of rest, and if they do not know you, make yourself known to them this school year through the witness of those who love you. Amen."
