- Life Stages
Most individuals describe separation and divorce as the most painful and stressful experience they have ever faced. It can be confusing, isolating, and filled with questions and decisions that seem impossible to face alone. DivorceCare is a Christ-centered, safe group of caring people who are ready to walk alongside you though one of life’s most difficult experiences.
Our DivorceCare leaders understand what you are going through because they have been through it, too. You won’t find judgment, criticism or condemnation, but instead you will be met with compassion and gain the support and tools you need to recover from divorce.
DivorceCare group sessions include a video portion that provides information by the top experts on subjects ranging from anger, depression, and loneliness to financial survival, new relationships, single sexuality, and how to care for your kids through the process. You will have the opportunity to talk with others about what you’re going through and discover the DivorceCare support team will become like family. As a DivorceCare group member, you will know why we say, “Find help, discover hope, experience healing.”
Bethel’s DivorceCare group runs for 13 weeks and has several sessions throughout the year. The next session will start on September 10th and be held every Tuesday from 6:30 to 8:30 in Ridge View. The cost of the class is $25 and you can join at any time. Childcare is available. Registration for the fall session will open in August.
