- Life Stages
Do you want change in your life? Ever wonder why change is so difficult? For those desiring transformation, The Genesis Process will give you the tools you need to see change and move out of old patterns.
Combining the latest in brain research and biblical truth, The Genesis Process helps to uncover and heal unconscious belief systems (lies) that negatively affect our behavior and relationships in an atmosphere of acceptance and grace. This happens through answering the question of Romans 7, "Why do we do the things we don't want to do?” The “things” we do can also be called coping behaviors and can become addictive. These behaviors can include overworking, over eating, overspending, being overly critical or judgmental, misuse of anger, co-dependency, being an approval addict, as well as addictions to drugs, alcohol, or sex. This group is effective for both spiritual growth and healing deep hurts.
This is also a great group for other group leaders to join for spiritual growth and to better understand and care for others. Change is possible! God created us for change!
Here is what one participant of The Genesis Process had to say, “Genesis Process is a thought-provoking, God-centered curriculum shared within a caring group setting. It introduces weekly commitments for change, which produce enhanced internal and relational skills, healing, and truth. It offers a unique approach to reaching and resolving deeply embedded issues. It works!”
The Genesis Process is a nine-month commitment with approximately 2 hours of homework each week. Workbook cost is $21 and the class is from 6-8pm. Our next session starts on Monday, September 9th and goes through early May. Each week we watch a 5 to 10-minute video followed by large group discussion and then break into gender specific groups to discuss homework assignments.
