We are all so different. Some of us feel like this time of quarantine is heaven, while some us feel like it is, well, not. The one thing that remains the same is our need for community. We were created for one another and need each other.
Let's face it, there are some of us who are really struggling with homeschooling our kids, working from our dining room table and being cut off from spending time with our people. Some of us are loving this time as we bond, create memories and teach our kids, we love working from home and our need for people isn't huge. Some of us have not been affected by this time at all, nothing has really changed and life is going on as usual.
Whatever group you can identify with, we still need to have community. We have created a couple of groups on facebook in addition to our page
, where you can find updates, information, and upcoming events.
Our group for parents
has Sunday's lessons, craft ideas, songs, links to articles, weekly challenges and sometimes a contest thrown in there. We want this page to look like a Sunday morning, where you connect with other families, swap parenting ideas, share what is working, and what is not. We want to celebrate your wins and pray for your losses. We want to hear what you are doing that is going well and what you're struggling with so we can help lessen your frustrations. We need your input and suggestions. This group will not be the same without you. Please consider joining us
We would like our group for servers
to look like a Sunday morning before families arrive. Where we catch up, pray, swap ideas, and share praises. We miss you guys! We are really looking for a community where we can share verses, articles, prayer requests, praises, struggles, and victories. Throw in some funny videos and a few memes to make us all laugh and we will all feel like the family we are. We all have a love and passion for kids and enjoy serving Jesus alongside each other. If you haven't already, please join our group
. We would love to have you on there.
"And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together (if even on facebook), as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another - and all the more as you see the Day approaching." Hebrews 10:24
See you on facebook!
