For the past 5 years, it has been my absolute joy to serve as your campus pastor. We have been through so much together and I want to revisit this. My family and I arrived in Prosser just months after the church building was complete. We were so grateful the Lord brought us to this body. Together we launched Kids Express, put in sports fields, and built Sharehouse all to be a church for the valley. The focus has always been on sharing God’s love and provision with our community.
I love that so much about Prosser. Our campus has been a church for the nations through international mission trips and yearly Ambassadors Soccer camps. We have built a phenomenal team. In addition to Cindy and Jim we added Carlos, Angela, Jeanna, Cole, Bruce and Kevin. They all serve you so well. We have seen many come to faith and be baptized. There has rarely been a day where I came into the office and didn’t think “I can’t believe this is what I get to do every day!” You have all loved us well, especially my family. There is no way to express what this means to us. This ministry has been the most exciting and rewarding we have experienced so far. We love the diversity and Lord’s obvious love for this valley.
Usually when a pastor transitions into a new role it means a relocation to a different state or region. I’m so grateful if this is confirmed that it is not goodbye but a transition within the Bethel family – one church in three locations. This is the next chapter in our relationship. Though not as often, you will continue to see my family and I, and I look forward to where the Lord takes us together as this adventure continues. I could pastor Bethel Prosser for the rest of my days and be fulfilled and excited. As we follow the Lord’s leading, I ask and pray for your support in this transition.
