Drive by parade and cards of encouragement
1664 S. Euclid Rd., Grandview
Flash Mob Bless is a great opportunity to help a Bethel family in need, to love and encourage them through hugs, gifts, prayers, words of encouragement, and practical help. We often say we are "one church in three locations". This Flash Mob Bless is an opportunity to prove just that!
Due to Covid-19, we unfortunately are not able to have a large group show up in someone's yard and visit like we normally do, but we will adjust by having a drive-by parade for the family in need! This is a fun way to get your ENTIRE FAMILY involved in a FMB! You are encouraged to decorate your vehicle with balloons, signs, etc.
The July Bethel family we will bless are named Craig and Beth! They attend Bethel Prosser, and they live about 7 miles from Bethel Church Prosser. Craig is currently battling brain cancer for the second time.
They moved across the country from the Midwest a few years ago, and not long after, found out his cancer had returned. He is currently in treatment and is unable to work at his job as an electrician. Due to his seizures and treatment, Beth is not able to help financially support their family either. They could use help with bills and gift cards for food, especially because they have maxed out their insurance coverage at this point.
We would love to come alongside them as their church family, to love and support them during this time of great need. Their address is 1664 S. Euclid Rd., Grandview. We will hold this parade at 11AM on Saturday, July 11th!
There will be someone in the front yard collecting cards/gift cards/cash as people drive by. The family lives down a lane but has a circle drive-way and we will weave our way around to make sure they see the messages of encouragement and hope!
We will meet at Bethel Prosser at 10:45AM on Saturday, and then drive to the home and bless the family! Or, you can just meet us at their home address at 11AM.
We hope many of you will take this opportunity to participate in loving this Bethel family through this very difficult time. It doesn't take long to extend care and comfort, even from just your vehicle!
