Changes to our holiday outreaches have been made related to Covid-19. Please read this information carefully.
THANKSGIVING ADOPT A FAMILY:
Bethel is partnering with Red Apple Market in Kennewick to provide 60 Thanksgiving baskets for families in need.
A gift certificate will be given to each family referred (through a case worker or school connection), for a basic Thanksgiving food basket to be picked up at Red Apple Market. Larger families (6+ living in one home) will be given two certificates.
Red Apple will put the food baskets together for Bethel, and families must turn in the certificate by Nov. 25th to receive their food items. GIFT CERTIFICATES WILL BE GIVEN TO THE CASE WORKER OR COUNSELOR TO BE GIVEN DIRECTLY TO THE FAMILY IN NEED. Fill out an online form to provide a Thanksgiving basket certificate one or more families.
CHRISTMAS FOR EVERYONE:
Bethel will provide a limited toy store as part of our "Christmas For Everyone" holiday outreach. A parent or guardian will come to Bethel to pick out toys for their children and to pick up other family essentials (Food box, laundry detergent, blankets, gift wrap, etc) on Saturday, December 12th. Volunteers will be needed on a limited scale, and can sign up using the online CFE Volunteer Form
Donations of toys will be accepted in the collection bins beginning Nov. 1st.

OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD:
We are offering two possibilities for OCC this year:
1) Build-A-Box Online:
Visit Samaritan's Purse website
and build a box right online. Pick the items to be included in your box, pay for the postage, and you are done! Easy to complete right from the comforts of your own home!
2) Build a box and drop it at the Bethel Activity Center:
Boxes will NOT be collected inside Bethel Church Richland, but the Richland Campus activity center will be open on Nov 1, 8, 15 before and after morning services to collect donated boxes. Additionally, the activity center will be open during collection week (Nov. 16-20) to receive boxes. (NOTE: West Pasco will be collecting boxes at their campus).
