Psalm 119:105 ~
Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.
Our ultimate goal is to raise disciples. There are many life milestones that give me parenting opportunities along the way.
I started by focusing on my kids as individuals, and on their current stages.
One son is transitioning to Running Start. His needs are ensuring that his college classes will transfer to the University.
Our other son can use some help transitioning to high school. Like study tips, time management skills, and even skincare.
Through prayer and petition (Phill 4:6-7), I can actively assist my children by praying with other moms. Moms in Prayer gives me peace in parenting. Joining together with other believers provides wise counsel.
What comes to mind for your kids? Try choosing one thing each and break it down into small actionable things. Be sure to write it down and re-read it throughout this fall quarter. And Pray.
Proverbs 16:9 ~
