In response to Governor Inslee's December 21 update
, Bethel will no longer be asking for RSVPs to in-person worship gatherings. These changes take effect immediately and apply to all of our regular worship services at all 3 Bethel campuses, including Christmas Eve.
We remain committed to fostering a safe worship environment for everyone, and continue to ask all who attend practice social distancing and wear masks at all times. We will also continue to offer the same great Sunday experience online
for anyone who chooses to worship at home.
What about capacity?
Bethel will maintain a safe, in-person worship experience by setting our own capacities for each venue and campus that ensures adequate space for social distancing.
We will monitor attendance closely (for adults and children), and if necessary, direct people to overflow areas to prevent a gathering from exceeding the capacity of the venue. Based on recent attendance, all campuses should have adequate seating in their respective auditoriums during Sunday services. Arriving a few minutes early is a great way to ensure that you get a seat in one of the main worship venues.
Is it possible RSVPs will be necessary again in the future?
While we hope that RSVPs remain unnecessary from this point forward, we cannot be certain of this and acknowledge that it may change in the future. We will let you know in the event of any changes.
So how do I attend in-person now?
Just like you did before March 2020 - show up on Sunday and engage in worship!
Please let us know
if you have any questions. Have a great evening and Merry Christmas!
