Bethel Celebrates $130,000 Going to Local Nonprofits and Local Missionaries

Nonprofit agencies and their staff have continued to find creative and meaningful ways to serve their clients despite the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic. The journey has been difficult for many, and Bethel Church has been on the front lines of these efforts, partnering together with 20 agencies/organizations and 4 local missionaries in our community to support, encourage, and serve our agency partners and friends.  We truly have been in this together and it's a joy to provide a community love blitz during February!

It has been our honor to distribute $130,000 in monetary gifts (and some gifts in the form of gift cards for clients) to these partners and treasured friends!! This community love blitz is a way to bless our community agencies beyond our monthly financial gifts and to show our commitment to serve and love families and individuals in need in the greater Tri-Cities. We love because He first loved us.

People who have given to Bethel's Covid-19 Relief Fund didn't make a financial decision to give, they made a spiritual one. Jesus said our money and our heart are connected--it's all His money after all--so whether you donated a large sum or gave $1, we are SO SO THANKFUL!

The following agencies and ministries were (or will soon be) recipients of these gifts:

Local Agencies

Local Missionaries
Zenon and Amy Thornton-- Fellowship of Christian Athletes
Todd Kleppin-- Forge Youth Mentoring
Shelley Fietkau-- Child Evangelism Fellowship

Hudson Taylor, beloved Chinese missionary, once said, " God's work, done in God's way will never lack God's supply."

WE LOVE OUR CHURCH FAMILY! What an incredible joy to love and serve our community together. These gifts will make a big difference for thousands of people in our community.
