Fresh Hope for Teens

posted by Bethel Care & Compassion | Apr 12, 2019

New studies are showing that teens today are experiencing higher rates of depression, anxiety, and suicidal ideation than previous generations (see here and here). These symptoms are often overwhelming, leaving individuals facing mental health challenges feeling isolated, misunderstood, and hopeless. Often teens want someone their own age to connect with and relate to; but how do you find where you belong? Who will listen?

Fresh Hope for Teens is a safe, Christ-centered support group for teens facing a mental health challenge and their teen friends. Adult and teen leaders work together to facilitate a welcoming environment where teens can support each other, finding encouragement and hope to lead a fulfilling life.

Our Fresh Hope for Teens group meets on the 1st and 3rd Thursday of each month downstairs in the Activity Center from 6:00 - 7:30.
